The weather in July is one of the best months of the year to visit Paris. It is mostly dry, sunny and warm. The average temperature for this time of the year starts off at 20 degree C . Your 'Land Content' fee is AUD$4950 plus GST, which includes 13 nights twin-shared apartment accommodation, weekly travel pass on Metro/ RER which includes two country destination train journeys via RER/SNCF. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, so that participants can cook their own breakfasts and general meals if they wish.

Apart from your airfares, travel insurance and possible entry visa to France, additional costs will apply if you prefer 'Single' occupancy apartment accommodation.  This supplementary cost is AUD$950 plus GST on top of the published Land Content cost. Apart from the Land Content cost, you will have to budget for general living/meal expenses which is around 800€. Daily meals expenses can vary depending whether you intend to use the apartment's kitchenette or dine out. Naturally dining out will be more expensive. The cost of food is similar to home. You will also have to budget for your airfares, travel insurance, transfers to and from airport, museum entries, activities on free days and Visa if required.

Q: How do we meet in Paris?

You will need to make your own travel arrangements to arrive at our hotel in Montmartre, by the afternoon of Sunday 12 July 2020. If you are arriving at Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport you can take the RER train to Gare de Nord with a Metro connection close to the hotel. The RER train ticket from the airport is also valid on the Metro connection, which is around 15€.

Alternatively and perhaps a less stressful way, is taking the Shared Transfer Shuttle Service from the airport. The shuttle service uses 8 seated mini vans and will take you ‘door to door’ from CDG airport to the hotel for approximate cost of 30€.

See website for details: www.parishuttle.com

Please be aware that a taxi from CDG airport to Paris could be as high as 90€ or more.
